Under the stars of our nation’s capital, community advocates, health influencers, WOMEN, and MEN will convene to raise funds to help improve the quality of life for fibroids sufferers and survivors.
It’s also a night of CELEBRATION, recognizing the influencers, stakeholders, and PATIENTS who do their part to advocate for fibroids awareness!
A Night In White, during Fibroids Awareness Month, strives to empower women to recognize the power of their stories, take pride in their strength and inspire them to be their own advocates.

The 2018 theme of A Night In White is: Breaking the Wall of Silence - Empowering Women to be Fearless One Story at a Time.
The statistics are staggering! An estimated 26 million women in the U.S. between the ages of 15 and 50 years old have uterine fibroids (UF).
Often, women suffer in silence because they are EMBARRASSED and ASHAMED, the guilt and stigma associated with heavy bleeding, fatigue, infertility, forces you to be withdrawn and SILENT.
Everyone's personal journey with fibroids can serve as a source of motivation and hope for other women suffering from similar conditions.
At this year's event, we will introduce the Blossom Awards, named after Tanika Gray-Valbrun's mother who also suffered from fibroids. This award will be presented to someone who exhibits a passion for women's health, who has been a champion for The White Dress Project , helping our organization blossom to the patient advocacy group we are today.
Mara Schiavocampo is a three-time Emmy Award winning correspondent and has appeared on Good Morning America, The Dr. Oz Show, The Today Show, The View, The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Chew, and more. The mission of The White Dress Project is to create a community of women who KNOW they no longer have to suffer in silence!
